Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use mythermiekitchen.com or book a service with Belinda Tucker.
Last updated: 17 May 2026 (draft).
Please read these terms carefully. By using this site, submitting a form, or booking a demo, class, presentation or consultation, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book a service.
1. About these terms
This website (mythermiekitchen.com, "the site") and the services offered through it are operated by Belinda Tucker, an independent Thermomix® Consultant based in Redlands, Queensland ("we", "us", "our", or "Belinda").
These terms govern:
- your use of this website;
- any booking you make through the site (Thermomix demonstration, cooking class, presentation, or one-on-one consultation); and
- any communication you receive from us in response to a form you submit.
References to "you" mean the person using the site or booking a service.
2. Independent consultant disclaimer
Thermomix® is a registered trade mark of Vorwerk International AG in Australia and New Zealand. Vorwerk Australia Pty Ltd is its authorised user and distributor in Australia of Thermomix® products. Neither company supports, authorises or endorses this site.
References on this site to Thermomix®, Varoma®, Cookidoo® and Recipe Chip® are made in their descriptive sense to identify the products that Belinda demonstrates and consults on as an independent consultant. All such trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Belinda is an independent Thermomix consultant. She is not an employee of Vorwerk or Thermomix in Australia Pty Ltd, and statements made by her on this site, in correspondence, or during a demonstration are her own and not statements made on behalf of those companies. For official product information, please refer to thermomix.com.au.
3. Services we provide
Through this site, Belinda offers:
- In-home Thermomix demonstrations — one-on-one or small-group cooking demonstrations using a Thermomix appliance.
- Group classes and presentations — in-person or remote sessions on Thermomix cooking techniques, recipes, and meal planning.
- Consultations — pre- and post-purchase advice on Thermomix products and their use.
- Recipe sharing and tips — recipes and how-to content published on this site for informational use.
The exact format, location, duration and price (if any) of a service is agreed with you at the time you book it. Some sessions may be offered without charge as an introductory experience.
4. Who can use this site
This site is intended for adults in Australia. By using the site or making a booking, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian's permission to make a booking on their behalf);
- the information you provide is accurate and complete; and
- you are using the site lawfully and not to harass, defraud, or compromise our systems.
5. Bookings and confirmations
Submitting a booking request through this site is a request, not a confirmed booking. The process is:
- You submit the booking form with your preferred days/times and details.
- Belinda reviews the request and either confirms the time, suggests an alternative, or contacts you to discuss.
- If a time is suggested, you'll receive an email with a link to accept or decline that time. A booking is only confirmed once you accept (or once Belinda otherwise confirms it in writing).
We aim to respond to all booking requests within two business days. If you haven't heard from us, please check your spam folder or get in touch.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
By you
You can cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking at any time before it begins by replying to the confirmation email or by contacting Belinda directly. We appreciate as much notice as you can give — ideally at least 24 hours — so the time can be offered to someone else.
By us
Occasionally we may need to reschedule or cancel a booking (for illness, family emergency, weather, or other unavoidable reason). If that happens we'll contact you as soon as possible to find an alternative time. If you have paid for a service that we cancel and we cannot agree a suitable alternative, we will refund any amounts you have paid.
No-shows
If you don't attend a confirmed booking without letting us know in advance, we may decline future bookings or ask for a deposit before re-scheduling. Any such decision will be made fairly and on a case-by-case basis.
7. Pricing and payment
Most introductory Thermomix demonstrations are offered at no charge to you. Where a service does carry a price (for example, a paid group class), the price will be quoted to you in Australian dollars (AUD) before you confirm the booking, and will state whether GST is included.
If you purchase a Thermomix product through Belinda, the sale is processed through Thermomix in Australia Pty Ltd's normal channels and is subject to Vorwerk's own terms and conditions of sale (including its product warranty). This site is not a point of sale and does not process payments for Thermomix products.
8. Your responsibilities
When you use the site or attend a session, you agree to:
- provide accurate contact, dietary and health information when asked (for example, allergies relevant to a tasting menu);
- ensure that any kitchen in which a demonstration is conducted is reasonably safe, has working power and a clean work area, and that any children or pets are appropriately supervised;
- follow Belinda's reasonable safety instructions during a demonstration (hot bowls, blades, steam);
- not record, broadcast or publish a session without Belinda's express written consent; and
- not use the site to upload malicious code, attempt to access non-public systems, scrape content systematically, or impersonate another person.
9. Recipes, allergens and food safety
Recipes and cooking tips on this site (and demonstrated in person) are provided for general information only. They are not personalised dietary advice and are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified health professional.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or medical condition that affects what you can eat, you must:
- carefully check every ingredient before preparing or tasting a dish;
- be aware that ingredient lists on this site may be incomplete, may change without notice, or may not reflect substitutions made on the day; and
- tell Belinda in advance of a booking if anyone attending has a serious allergy or intolerance.
Belinda will take reasonable care, but cannot guarantee that any kitchen in which a demonstration is conducted is free from cross-contamination (for example, from nuts, gluten, sesame, dairy, eggs, soy, or shellfish). To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for adverse reactions arising from undisclosed allergies or from your decision to consume a dish.
10. Intellectual property
Site content
The original text, photographs, illustrations, logo (the "bowl + wordmark" mark), layout and recipes that Belinda has written and published on this site are owned by Belinda Tucker (or licensed to her). You may:
- view, download and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use;
- save a recipe card for your own kitchen; and
- share a link to a page on social media or by email.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- republish a recipe, photo, or substantial portion of site content on another website, blog, in print, or in any compilation;
- use site content in a commercial publication or for any paid service; or
- remove or alter any attribution, watermark or copyright notice.
Third-party marks
Thermomix®, Varoma®, Cookidoo®, Recipe Chip® and the Vorwerk name and devices are the property of Vorwerk International AG and/or its licensees. Use of those marks on this site is descriptive only and does not imply any licence, sponsorship or endorsement (see clause 2).
Your content
If you submit a comment, photo, testimonial or other content to us (for example, in an email about a recipe you made), you grant Belinda a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it on this site and in related materials, with attribution where reasonably possible. Tell us if you'd prefer it not to be shared.
11. Third-party content and links
The site may link to or embed content from third parties — for example, presentation decks hosted by Gamma (gamma.app), or recipes hosted on Cookidoo® (cookidoo.com.au). When you follow a link or open an embed, that third party's terms and privacy policy apply to your interaction with it. We don't control the content of third-party sites and we don't endorse them by linking to them.
12. Privacy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we collect only what you give us via a form, we store it in AWS Sydney, we don't use trackers or analytics, and we don't sell your data.
13. Email and marketing communications
When you submit a booking or contact form, you give us express consent under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) to email or call you about that enquiry — for example, to confirm a time, suggest an alternative, or share a recipe playlist after a demo.
We will only send you broader marketing messages (newsletters, upcoming class notices) if you have separately opted in. Every commercial electronic message we send identifies Belinda as the sender, includes valid contact details, and contains a working unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending marketing emails within five working days. Operational emails relating to a current booking will continue even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
14. Consumer guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)
Where you acquire a service from us as a "consumer" under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), you have certain non-excludable rights, including that the service will be:
- provided with due care and skill;
- reasonably fit for any particular purpose you have told us about; and
- provided within a reasonable time where no time is fixed.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. The limitations and exclusions in these terms apply only to the extent permitted by law.
15. Limitation of liability
Subject to clause 14 (and any other non-excludable statutory right):
- we provide the site and our services "as is" and to the extent permitted by law disclaim all warranties not expressly given in these terms;
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, business opportunity, data, goodwill or reputation, however arising; and
- our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the site, a booking, or these terms is limited, at our option, to either re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
You acknowledge that food preparation involves inherent risks (sharp blades, hot bowls, steam, ingredient allergens) and that you are responsible for your own conduct in your kitchen and the conduct of those you invite to attend.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold harmless Belinda Tucker against any loss, claim, damage or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:
- your breach of these terms;
- your unlawful or negligent use of the site or a service we provide; or
- any content you submit to us (for example, a photo) that infringes the rights of a third party.
This indemnity is reduced to the extent that the loss is caused or contributed to by us.
17. Site availability
We aim to keep the site available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The site may be offline for maintenance, updates, or because of issues outside our control (power, network, hosting provider, third-party service outages). We are not liable for any loss arising from the site being temporarily unavailable.
18. Termination and refusal of service
We may decline a booking, end an in-progress session, or restrict access to the site if:
- you behave in a way that is unsafe, abusive or harassing toward Belinda or anyone else attending;
- you misuse the site (for example, by attempting to circumvent rate limits or security controls); or
- continuing the service would put Belinda or any third party at risk.
Where reasonable, we'll explain why and refund any amounts paid for the part of the service not delivered.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at mythermiekitchen.com/terms.html with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be brought to your attention by email if they affect an existing booking. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute that can't be resolved by talking to us first is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the federal courts of Australia.
21. Contact
Questions about these terms, requests for permission to reuse content, or concerns about how a service was delivered:

Reminder: this is a draft prepared in good faith from publicly available Australian guidance (ACCC, OAIC, ACMA, Vorwerk Australia's own legal notices and recognised legal-template providers). It is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a qualified Australian solicitor before publishing as the binding terms of the business — particularly clauses 2 (Vorwerk/Thermomix relationship), 14–16 (consumer guarantees, liability, indemnity) and 20 (governing law).
